Investing your capital

Whether you are new to investing and uncertain which is the best route to take, or an experienced investor looking for the right person to work with, you are in the right place.

Investing your capital for the future is probably one of most important, yet sometimes difficult choices facing both experienced and new investors alike.

Who do you trust? – What makes this financial adviser different to this one ?- Why don’t I just go to the bank? – I prefer to keep an eye on my affairs and without doubt the most important aspects …. how much risk should I take?

Understanding your attitude to Investment Risk is a key part of our advice process

The choice of where and how to invest is vast, with so many factors to take into account. We do not use a one size fits all approach, we are all different, and so we adopt an individual approach with every one of our clients. From the annual ISA investor to the bespoke portfolio. From the non-taxpayer to the higher rate tax payer. From those looking for capital growth to those seeking an income.

We can find a solution to suit you and your requirements. We then work with you to ensure it continues to suit you, even when your needs change, because it’s highly likely that your needs will vary over the course of your life.

A successful investor is often one who is not forced to sell an investment when values are at a low point, but can remain invested until an opportune time to sell. Clearly, it is impossible to predict when this will be, but generally we would recommend a minimum timescale of five years for all ‘asset backed’ investments.

Why don’t you start by making one simple investment, that is investing some time talking to us, we can promise you its risk free and you can only gain, remember “it’s good to talk”.

The value of an investment can go down as well as up and you may get back less than you have invested.
